Reflections - what was effective / fitting it into my FMP

I think that what needs improving is my use of imagery for the pieces associated with death - was struggling here to create the kind of tense silent atmosphere I wanted (perhaps also need to look at creating an emptier / more simple composition for this to work more effectively)

I feel as though at this point in my FMP I'm struggling a little with imagery as I do think that the FMP theme is a little distant from what I like to paint and I do worry that when I'm able to come up with a more certain plan, the pieces will be less effective / have less of my artistic touch to them. Perhaps here it might be important to think of ways to incorporate my own artistic style (loud and bright) into the theme OR slightly deviate from my original theme and come up with an idea that I like better.
